Comments:
I managed to operate in all 5 Spring 2020 SPRINT events this year. The 6 meter
SPRINT was the only one done from home QTH instead of /M, /P, or /R.
During the event, there was not a hint of an opening, but made I 9 QSOs
South of the Santa Monica Mt. Range. KG6IYN (DM12)(@135 miles) was readable at
all times on FT-8.
This was my first contest to use FT-8 in conjunction with USB & FM.
FT-8 netted 12 QSO; USB 12 QSO; & FM 3 QSO.
Grids heard & worked were: DM03, DM04, DM12, & DM13
At least 8 members of the Conejo Valley Amateur Radio Club (CVARC) & 3
members of the Ventura County Radio Society (VCARS) participated. A great
display of Ventura County operators who have 6 meter gear!
I enjoyed the SPRINT and was delighted to observe so much local activity
