Comments:

On the road again in the CoROVERolla to 'haunt' my local Grid Corner - EN51,
EN52, EN61 & EN62.

The 50 MHz configuration was my KB6KQ horizontal loop on a platform about 4'
above the roof of the car. Radio was my FT-991 at 100 Watts powered by a 55 A-h
LiFePO battery from ampedoutdoors.com. A DC Wattmeter I had inline says 12 A-h
were consumed.

ALL QSOs were SSB...checked 50.090-50.100 a few times for CW, even tried a CQ
there but no takers.

MANY local stations were on. Besides FOUR other local rovers (and a fifth that I
heard others working but never heard well enough to try making a contact), 27
fixed station calls made it into my log - 13 Calls from EN52 (and three of those
worked from all 4 of the grids I visited).

A bit of sporadic-E with stations who STILL USE THEIR MICROPHONES was
appreciated; states worked:
Maine 2 stations, 2 Qs
Massachusetts 1 station, 1 Q
Nebraska 2 stations, 3 Qs
New Hampshire 3 stations, 4 Qs
Rhode Island 1 station, 1 Q

          ---------Qs---------
My Grid Fixed Rover Total Mults
EN51 4 15 19 4
EN52 18 12 30 10
EN61 14 11 25 6
EN62 16 11 27 8

Total 52 49 101 28 = 2828

Being able to 'play' in all of this year's Spring VHF & Up Sprints has been
a welcome distraction (cure?) for the 'cabin fever' from stay-at-home
directives. It makes me even more thankful and appreciative of all who were on
and to CSVHFS for their continued sponsorship of the Spring VHF & UP Sprint
series and to the program committee of KA2KQM, W0ZQ and WB8BZK who do the heavy
lifting for the Society.

Hoping that everyone will stay safe for the June VHF Contest (and beyond)...the
higher levels of activity in this year's Spring Sprints suggests that activity
will be high and June and it will be interesting to see how social distancing
requirements will impact multi-operator efforts in June.

73, JK
