Well, thanks to all for QSOs. CONDX were ok, didn't expect 1600+ QSOs are
possible with simple GP antenna.
Congrats to I2IFT, it was a nice race on contestonlinescore.
Had some issues during the contest:
- cqcontest online scoring bugged and freezed DXLog. Quickly found the problem,
moved to contestonlinescore
- using VE7CC cluster for years. Somehow, despite there was no filters on, I
didn't received all skimmer spots. I really don't know what's happened, changed
cluster on Saturday around 22z, but I guess due VE7CC Cluster I've lost at least
30 MTPL and numerous US/VE stations first night, so 4M+ was possible.
- Sunday evening had some problems with Flexradio, after TXing there was either
no RX, or MOX was still red (Maestro). Sometimes, after several seconds was ok,
but, I've to reset Flex 3 or 4 times. Not sure where was the problem, Flex or
Maestro.
This was my first serious Contest with Flexradio. Just two words: fantastic
radio.
Flexradio 6600 + Maestro
ACOM 1000
Spiderbeam pole 12.5m, L/4 GP
DXLog
Seems this result is enough to hold a German record Assisted 40m HP. Not bad for
a piece of wire :-)
