Comments:

For the first time in the SOAB LP unassisted entry. Very good CONDX of 7 and 14
MHz – both, the most relevant bands for this contest. Excellent conditions,
despite the forecasts for local thunderstorms, the weather was wonderful and did
not cause problems. I am very grateful to Krassy, LZ2UW and his wife Tanya for
the wonderful conditions they provided. As a result, I experienced an exciting
36 hours.
I chose the tactic with less run and more S&P, which turned out to be very
successful - over 60% of the QSOs were made at S&P. Very rarely, mostly
during the second day I did run on one of the bands to get the attention of
those participants who had chosen S&P as well.

Few hours prior the end of the contest I decided to make run of 14 MHz and often
to change the bands on the second radio, which turned out to be a successful
tactic. I got heavy pile-ups from US stations, probably as a result of spotting
skimmers lasted almost to the end. Fifteen minutes before the end I decided to
check 160. Sent some CQs and worked few EUs when I barely felt that DX was
calling me. It was Jeff VY2ZM. He is still in good shape, having in mind I
didn’t intend to make serious work on 160 and was “bare-footed” with low
power and wires.
Once again, I want to express my big thanks to Krassy and Tanya as well as
everyone who worked me and gave me the opportunity to achieve this good result.
