Comments:
First time to go High Power in the June Contest.
Only high power on 6m ~600W. Other bands 100W or less.
Had some decent runs on SSB at the beginning and end of the contest.
Contrary to popular belief, FT8 has not killed off CW/SSB.
Very little in the way of openings to the Western US. Majority of the openings
seemed to favor the Midwest.
Had a brief opening to Japan late Sunday afternoon, nothing into Europe and a
little from the Caribbean.
On a positive note, picked up 1 new grid on 50 MHz (getting harder to come by
these days) and 3 new ones on 222 MHz
putting me a few closer to the magical number of 50 and a VUCC on that band.
Thank you to everyone that made it in the log and those that tried.
Until the next contest or next year which ever comes first....
73,
Scott AA5AM
