Comments:

I used Elecraft kx1 on internal batteries, 1 to 1.5 watts output to 80 meter
twinlead-fed inverted V at 80 feet (on 40m) and A3 (on 20m) at 100 feet.  I
should have planned more participation with a 12 volt battery.  I could work the
east coast on 20 meter only after others were not calling, hi. I don't think I
got past the midwest on 40m except NFL.
