NW0K 2A Field Day outing was good fun. Class A stations were semi-rare, while
there were LOTS of Ds. Lightning and wind QRXed us at 0230Z Saturday night. Our
VHF bonus station was worthwhile with lots of 6M activity. We only had 4 grunts
- K0BJ K0FJ N0BVW and pleased to get acquainted with Robert K0MVB from Goodland
who spent both days with us. A couple more hams to make Qs woulda been even more
fun. Ex-Midwest Director K0CA was QSO #2. Brad W0CO ex of Oakley and now part of
a serious 1B team was another contact, as was Mike AB0TX who is part of the W0NO
Sweepstakes team. Score is +700 bonus
