Comments:
Haven't entered a Canada day contest since 2009. As many years this one falls on
a weekday I tend to forget about it and not having a real station set up for a
long time I just didn't bother. Decided to throw up my wire on the balcony and
see what I could hear and who could hear me. The 5 hours of op time includes a
couple of hours of trying for VE4RAC and VE6RAC but my signal was far too weak,
it did remind me of my early days on HF when I was on phone with a weak signal
yelling into my microphone for an hour to log one station, at least it is easier
on the voice to do so on CW (hihi). Before I worked a few VE statins I thought
I would have a 0 score (hihi).
