Last time I operated IARU from home was 2017, had 785 contacts.
Conditions to Europe started off extremely poor but improved late Saturday.
Was able to get Asian countries Sunday AM and that was a nice treat.
Should have hit 800+ but lost a significant chunk of time due to storms. Also,
storm noise made for very difficult copy on the lower bands. Did a lot less
Phone contacts, as I preferred CW to cut through the noise. 16h 13 mins on air
out of 24 hours.
Had some weird issues right at the start where N1MM in the dual keyboard config
for SO2R would "disconnect" the main radio keyboard. I shut off all
unnecessary non on-air bells and whistles in N1MM and was able to get going. The
dual keyboards are wireless so not sure what exactly the issue was. Having dual
keyboards in SO2R is really helpful at least for me, so I was glad to get it
working.
Flex 6600, Maestro, SPE Expert 1K (yay, didn't blow it up this weekend!), Alpha
76PA. The parallel stubs for 40/20 bandpass filters really were a lifesaver!
