Comments:
Another good one. Condx in and out. Saturday midday it felt like there was a
20db pad in the rx line on 20. Worst QRN was Sat on 20/15 from regional
T-storms, low bands not too bad especially the 2nd night. 80m on 2nd night was
*very* good, but of course low activity. 15 was better day1 but it was clear I
wasn't getting the best of it. On Sat, RL3A was a beacon for several hours when
little else was coming thru. Might have made a strategic error - heard some
good sigs on 20 after Eu sunrise, a very quick listen and I concluded it was
mostly big guns. Another local had his best rates then.
In the last 12hrs of the contest had only 250 QSOs. It was brutal. Guess we
need a few sunspots?
Very few repeats on QTCs, great ops in Eu just gobble them up.
