I'm a poor imitation of a real SSB op but I love NAQP, so I decided to do the
SSB version. The 160 antenna was down, and my SO2R box is on the bench, so it
was one boy/one radio.
What a different contest from the CW version two weeks ago! Two weeks ago, 10
and 15 were almost a total bust for me, but the low bands were great. This time
10 and 15 were good and the low band were VERY noisy. I couldn't get any real
traction on 40 until 0300Z, but fortunately, the hits just kept coming on 20
until then.
