Comments:
My station is not setup at my new Tennessee QTH yet, but I did at least get some
pulleys and ropes in the trees so I figured I would put together an all-band OCF
dipole especially for this contest (starting Saturday morning!). The pulleys
and ropes worked fine, but the OCF would not resonate at all so I quickly put
together a 40 meter dipole and operated single band. I was off to a late start
after screwing around with the OCF dipole, but I managed to put in 7 hours of
operation. The static level from nearby storms was awful. I wish I had been
able to operate on multiple bands to get more multipliers, but I had fun with my
limited setup. I was even able to put some decent runs together.
