Big thanks to Ray W2RE for hosting us this year. We were an all youth team of
operators and operated 100% remote from Summit NY (http://www.w2re.com/summit/),
the station performed with no problems.
Our team of RHR youths consisted of W4IPC - 18 (VA), KC1KUG - 15 (NH), and AA4LS
- 13 (NC)
We did all this thanks to the RHR youth program letting us use the station free
of charge for the contest!
We have been practicing weekly for contests as a team in our own contest we
started called WWSAC (WWSAC.com) which is one hour every Monday night.
We hope our RHR Youth team can compete in many NAQPs to come.
160/80 was ok however, 160 really did not have much for conditions.
40 was pretty slow running and not as good as we had hoped.
20 was pretty good throughout the contest and is where most of our Qs came
from.
15/10 left something to be desired, not many Qs were made here and if we did we
could have placed higher.
Hope to see everyone again in the Fall!
Connor W4IPC
