Decided to try single band on 160M with my newly installed K2AV FCP antenna and
new (to me) TS590SG. Both performed flawlessly. TS590 antenna tuner made the
antenna "usable" on other bands, even made a few contacts to see if it
"worked". Doing the 1AM grind, catching an occasional W3 or 4 while
trying not to hit my head on the desk between nods and up pops a F6 responding
to my CQ. Only EU for the contest but it did keep me alert until the 3AM coffee
break! Very akin to RTTY, can see where FT4 could keep you busy. Found it a
fun new addition to contesting. See you next year!
