As with WAE CW, many thanks to WW4LL, K2NG, and NN9DD for making this possible.
This trio spent a lot of time on the phone, in conference calls, on the computer
to make this work. Could not have been done without them.
First SSB remote operation. Very different feel than being there. My apologies
for the crappy audio. Could not find a good headset in time for the event, and
I went with a gaming headset provided by my 17-year old. Need to work on the
proper adjustments. Tried to re-record the audio stream but just could not get
it to work right.
So, this is what it's like to work stuff on a band that others can't touch. 15
was open for a whopping 1:30 over two days. The guys in PY and PZ were having a
field day on the north-south path. I got a 30 minute "taste" on
Saturday and a solid 60 minute run on Sunday. Thank God that I opted NOT to to
take that time off like I had originally envisioned doing.
ZERO on 10 meters. Not even a whiff.
