Comments:
The above score includes 31000 bonus points for activating 31 counties and 500
points for working N4CD in 5 different counties.
My highest number of QSOs ever in the TQP but with fewer mults not my highest
score.
Thanks to all the callers contributing to some tremendous pileups! I don't think
I've experienced as deep a pileups in any previous TQP. Seems like every county
was huge! I had planned to operate in the mixed category but never got a chance
to grab the headset.
The mobile station consists of an Elecraft K3, a Scorpion SA-680 antenna, a Dell
D630 running CQ/X, and a 2015 Ford F250 Superduty.
A special thanks to my wife, K5AKS, for driving me around WTX! I think she
almost caught up on her audio books!
