Comments:
Flex 6400, 5 watts to Classic 33 beam at 45 ft, 40 meter inverted V at 50 ft.
Started on 20 while N4GL was on 40. 12 of my 13 contacts on 20 were in Europe.
Called several of the big 3 land stations many times, no luck. Swapped bands
after 30 minutes and 40 was tough fighting the pileups. Thanks to those with big
ears. QRP is a challenge in the CWT and makes me appreciate the QRP contests
where everyone is on a more level playing field. That said, I intend to continue
doing QRP at 1300 and 1900 and 1.3K at 0300 when N4GL is in bed.
