Comments:

Was this a VHF contest? 18 of my QSOs were Ohio or Michigan, including a rare
five bander with NA8V. Otherwise 40 was quite long, and the pileups/jump balls
brutal on all the low bands.

I was testing a new antenna for 40/80: A W8JI design OCF (109/27 feet). Not much
difference from the usual dipole on 80 and PRO67A on 40. (Not as good on 20/15
however). I'm trying it out as a possible Florida antenna (which is only a bit
over a month away).
