Comments:

Antennas: two wire dipoles for 40m at right-angles to each other. The dipoles
are at about 75ft high. One running NE/SW and the other NW/SE.

Conditions generally seemed very poor. A large number of western US states were
never heard or worked. Nothing heard beyond VE3 in Canada. Although VE4 and VE5
were being spotted, I could not hear a peep from them.

Likewise in the opposite direction only one JA (mega station JH4UYB) was heard
or worked. Nothing from BY (missed Z24) and couldn't hear a JT who was spotted
(missed Z23). Similarly couldn't hear any of the several DU stations being
spotted. However it was nice to work 13 stations in YB.

A nice surprise was to work Z37, twice no less: ET3AA and 5Z4VJ. Apart from
those two, there was nothing from central/southern Africa. No Z35, No Z36 or
Z38.

Was in the shack operating for about 44 hours.
