After Saturday I didnt think conditions could get any worse, but how wrong could
you be? Sunday improved very slightly as the day went on but the K Index was 4
and the A above 25. At one point on Saturday I noticed the K Index at 5. Run
were hard work. Many DX stations were only half a dB above the noise. From
Scotland propagation seemed better to the east than the west. JAs and YBs were
louder than Ws. Didn't HEAR a W6 or VE6/7. Very unusual. My Expert SunSDR2
DX performed well, at the end of the contest my rotator was exhausted at the
continual work and even my amplifier was blushing with all its extra effort....
Hoping for a new Scottish record - fell well short! Had a problem with N1MM but
will get that sorted..
