Comments:
This was my first attempt to operate in this contest. Conditions were
not bad. It was surprising to QSO nearby states when typically I
can never hear them on 40m while working Europe. Only a few South American and
Carribbean stations heard. Makes it much more satisfying once logging software
is set up correctly. My biggest surprise was to QSO HZ1TT just before contest
ended. Even though I copied print on 5Z4/JR4, they could not hear my 100 watts
as with a few other DX stations. As always, thanks for all of the QSOs. I had a
blast for my first entry in this contest.
