Comments:
New operator site, and a few unexpected changes, so I got on a few minutes
late.
My goal was a dozen QSOs in each session, QRP, faster than last year :)
Yes, I know there's no QRP category - its just more satisfying to make QSOs.
At 00z, Nothing seen on 15m.
A "reasonable" amount of traces on 20m, so I waded in and called the
loud ones,
and CQed in the empty spaces. Worked my dozen in 28 minutes - nice! I couldn't
get a JA to hear me, but I did get KH7M. See you next session...
At 16z, Nothing seen on 15m.
Lots of weak traces on 20m, nothing RTTY on 40m, so I waded into 20m.
Everyone pointing East to Europe, so a W7 QRP had a hard time. Best DX was
VE2! Finally worked my dozen at 30 minutes.
Third session, close to end, at 15z, Nothing seen on 15m.
Lots of traces on 20m, so I S&Ped up the band. Worked loud USA guys who were
no longer getting answers from Europe. Worked my dozen with 1 minute to spare
compared to last year, so I'm getting faster or activity is up.
Thanks for the fun.
