Oh well what to say....it was a vy long weekend.
1st day was great with great runs but that doesn't mean it was easy, band was
crowded and difficult to keep frequency. At the end of 1st day close to 2700
stations were in the log.
2nd day was just about the same JA were getting through LP in the morning, and
even worked a couple of YB as well over the LP, (I think for the first time
ever.)
Juicy multipliers that came to my CQ call
BY,ZB2,5T5,3V8,T6,9M2,E2,VU2,VR2,HB0,7X5,FP5 and the surprise for me this year
was VP6MW.
Never heard KH6, but KL7 was a missing multiplier until 23z Sunday ... when
suddenly AL7JX showed up and then it almost looked like KL7 QSO party and at the
close 10 were logged.
As it was expected number of multipliers was low, most of the usual multipliers
that were only active due to someone flying over there to activate them were not
on the air. The virus won in that category.
With less multipliers to build up score, only way was QSO numbers initial target
was 4000.
Target was European record and that as passed Sunday afternoon, hopefully with
enough margin to keep it.
Thanks to all who call in, see you on the next one.
Until then BE SAFE and PLEASE WARE THE MASK
