Comments:

Had to run with the noise blanker on all bands tonight - some kind of ferocious
power line noise. It seems to be much worse on the 135 foot doublet than it was
on the Lazy H. Still getting used to what the doublet can do on 20 meters where
it goes multi-lobed. 40 meters very long tonight, although I did work OH.
Stations to south of me were weak on 40 - what changes has Nature wrought while
I was away? It feels weird to make the bulk of my Qs on 80 when that was
historically my weakest band in NS. Eventually I'll get the Lazy H re-strung
from higher branches and hopefully have a better signal on 20.

Sorry to have missed the NS group during ARRL SS CW last weekend - sole Q from
the NS regulars was K7SS! Then again, I was in the contest for all of 6
minutes.....not a good weekend for radio. Glad to be back in NS and hope to be
a regular again now that the time isn't so deadly for my sleep needs.

Many thanks for the Qs, and 73 de MikeNH
Rig: K3/10 at 5 watts, 135 foot doublet at 45 feet used on all bands
