Comments:

Operated remotely to the BeLoud.Us station at PJ4G.

Equipment: Flex 6500 and 2 element yagi @ 100 feet.

Thanks to the COVID pandemic we ended a 15 year streak of CQWW DX CW multi-ops
at PJ4A. John, K4BAI rented the station to operate the contest remotely as PJ4A
as a 15 Meter Single Band entry. He agreed to allow me to use the station when
15 meters died each night. I also decided to not run the amplifier so I wouldn't
jeopardize his serious effort in case something might happen. No one has been to
Bonaire since about March so some of the normal maintenance isn't taking place.
Right now it's important to treat the remote equipment with care since no one
can quickly go to the house in person to fix problems if they might occur.

I didn't even get on the air remotely until Saturday evening. I chose to just
operate on 40 meters. It was apparent that no one had been on 40 meters from PJ4
with the huge unruly pileup that greeted me. The rate was great when the chaos
died down and the band was open to the US, EU and JA all at the same time later
on early Sunday morning. I was really having fun so I stayed on until 6 AM local
time(in Georgia) before I turned the station back over the K4BAI when 15 meters
started opening up in Bonaire.

Thanks to Fred, WW4LL and Mike, NN9DD for their assistance during the weekend
and to John, K4BAI for letting me operate when he wasn't on the air. Hopefully
everything will return to normal in time for CQWW DX CW in 2021 and we can go
back to our normal routine.

Jeff KU8E
