Comments:
Waaay better than I ever expected with a flaky Carolina Windom antenna. Even
though I discovered the antenna problems on 80M-10M were caused by a bad surge
protector in the feed line, the ATU still won't tune the antenna on 160M below
about 2.5:1 SWR, even though it worked perfectly in the past. I even added
another line isolator 20 minutes into the contest, but to no avail.
in any case, here's my meager contribution to the PVRC score. I hope it helps a
little.
