Comments:
A huge thanks to Tim, N6WIN for hosting me again for this contest. He has put so
much work into the station over the last year. Just this week, the 8/8/8 10m EU
and 7/7 10m JA stacks went up thanks to the help of Hector XE2K. I had visions
of big pile ups on 10, but once again the condx sucked this year. 15m was pretty
spotty and died early. 160m was a nice surprise. Tim upgraded the antenna since
last year, and I think that definitely contributed to going from 28 mults last
year to 39 this year.
There haven't been a lot of contests where at the end I can honestly say there
was nothing wrong with the station itself. Everything worked as expected and I
was well prepared. Axel and Steve continue to dominate from the SW and its just
amazing to see what they are doing. Axel's 338 hour in this contest is way more
impressive than any other high rate hour in contesting!
Thank you as always to Icom for allowing us to use 3 IC 7610's for this contest.
It was nice to have all 3 radios be the same. Since 10 was dead, there was only
limited use for the 3rd radio but I did work about 20 guys with it.
73, Dan / N6MJ

Green Heron Everyware switching worked great driving OK2ZAW stack matches, K7NV
prop-pitches, and 80m Tornado tuner. The K6AM Skunkworkz Seekrit black boxes
continue to be the center of our 2BSIQ/SO2R/Multi setup and held up to high
standards as expected.
