Comments:
My intention was to use the contest to chase DX on top band. Conditions were not
at all cooperative. Friday night was dreadful and Saturday night was a little
less so. Pretty well only the big guns among the DX were heard and many of them
didn't hear me. Failing at that game I slept normal hours and got some running
practice. At least the small amp kept the shack warm while the temperature
outside plunged overnight. During the day I put on my snowshoes and had some
real fun.
