Comments:
Operated from the usual site of HamCation at the Central Florida Fairgrounds in
Orlando. Temporary antennas of a tribander at 25 feet and wires below. Had a
very high- S9 - noise level to contend with. Lots of slow times mixed with some
big piles of callers on phone, many fighting to make it above the noise.
We had a heavy thunderstorm pass by right at the start. It would have made for
not such a good morning at HamCation, though it did clear off with no further
rain.
Looking forward to a more normal HamCation in 2022!
