Comments:

Ice storm damaged 160m antenna and receive antennas, so I decided operate low
power. Sometimes tough going against the many using more than 100watts. 10m
was open to SA, while 15m was open to parts of EU on Saturday, but Sunday these
paths did not materialize, but had some N/S propagation. Noise levels on
40m/80m were extremely quiet at my QTH. Maybe the ice caused the power line
noise to disappear Friday night and Saturday. Noise came back Sunday afternoon
causing havoc (S7-S9), but was able to dig many callsigns out. Thanks for
bearing with my low power (100W). Low power on 80m makes things challenging,
but many on the other side had good ears. Thanks all of the QSOs and had fun as
usual putting more time in, but not stirring many QSOs when running, so spent
lots of time S&P. 73
