Comments:
Not sure whether to do a full-on entry, but the first hour made the decision for
me! I went back to bed and got up at 5am, when topband was in good form, but the
rest of the weekend was a real struggle. Looks like I missed an opening late on
15m on Saturday, but Sunday was a washout. The last hours were a struggle with
most 40m signals down in the noise. You'd call a weak W and then he'd get even
weaker when he replied! UK definitely too far north when conditions are so
disturbed. At one point on Saturday I noticed that every signal from Tennessee
had auroral flutter, but W8s and VE3s had pure signals. Very odd.
