Comments:
Wanted to do BOTH NAQP and CQ WW SSB 160, so I had to balance my time to obtain
most of Saturday night/Sunday morning On 160.
I ran 160 SSB Friday night,, got a few hours of sleep after AZ SR,, then hit the
NAQP right at the start,,running 10 hours straight no breaks.
15 was as everyone else here in AZ saw,,,a disappointment,, I just could not get
any traction,,weird conditions.
I switched to 40 a little earlier than normal and had good results..
My biggest downfall was not working 80 meters later in evening toward end of
contest,, 80 was a LOT of flutter and watery signals right after AZ SS but got
better as night went on,,so I missed some good mult's I am sure buy quitting at
0400,,
I should have balanced my time better, as conditions on 160 were TERRIBLE
Saturday night..I could have made more contacts on Rtty.... Live and Learn!!
Starting to get a better handle on SO2R operation,
As ALWAYS LOTS OF FUN and a Personal challenge for me to do 10 hours straight
SO2r on RTTY..
GO OUTLAWS!!!
