Highlights: Working VK6Lw on 80m @ SS here over EU. Exciting! ALso 9J2BO on 15m
before I had a chance to turn on the amp (85w...good ears !)
Lowlights: Having some guy chase me all over the bottom 15kcs of 20m claiming it
was the DX window and a no contest zone. When I wouldn't move far enough I just
got steady DQRM (QSY QSY.............(dits).................QSY
QSY................(dits) and on and on.
Anyone else encounter him?He did send me a callsign, but won't repeat it in case
he just made something up. Wouldn't be fair to the possibly innocent party.
>From E. EU.
Good participation as usual from many good ops around the Commonwealth, but I
just didn't have much spare time, so 5 hours and 7 minutes was it.
The newish RBN Beta map website is slightly wonky and shows me in Ontario one
day and New Brunswick the next.
Please do not let it fool you. If I am signing a VE9 call, I am in NB.
*QZB* = You are all zero beat ; pse use ur XIT +/- ! (Applies to CW only)
CU (all of a sudden) in the next one.
