Comments:
First topband contest with new rig (TS590SG), and its receiver is a clear
upgrade over the FT-450. Much easier to pick signals out, although lack of a
receive antenna still hampered my ability to hear Europe, and I only worked
three. This seemed like the first contest in a year where activity was lower
than expected. Too many hams out on the town on a Saturday night? Could this
meant the COVID contesting bump is over?
