Comments:
I have become soured on SSB contests -- too much noise and
bad audio. I didn't even get into the ARRL DX SSB as the
weekend was very busy and I just wasn't motivated. So I
started this one Friday night with the thought I would
just "play" a bit. Friday night was "OK." But then by
Saturday afternoon my competitive juices kicked in and I
figured I'd see what I could do with my little station.
(My best antenna is 10m, my worst are 80 & 160 -- not
great for no sunspots.)
I ended up putting in 8+ real hours and ~12 official (60
minute off) hours. But, I did do the best I've done in
this one except for 2015/2016 when there were sunspots.
Real BIC = 8.25 hours (Official 60 minute time = 12 hours)
