Comments:
I had a feeling the bands would be better than they have been recently - the
good omen was working JA1KIH on 20 CW about 2 hours after my sunrise this
morning - LONG PATH at 5 watts to my 135 foot doublet!
Loud signals tonight on 20 for a change, but action was fast and furious and I
didn't net that many Qs there. So many lost jump balls on 40 with 3 or more
stations calling everyone I called. I probably should have gone to 80 earlier,
and thanks to N5ZO for a rare 80 meter Q - great ears, Marko! Nothing heard on
15 at all, and I checked multiple times. Thanks to NA8V and W8WTS for my 160
meter Qs - more good ears awards to hand out.
