Arrived early to Coyote Hills park and enjoyed picnic with my YL. Assembled mast
and guys with inverted Vee in about 15 minutes (with help from same YL) and sat
and enjoyed the S1 background noise. at 1950 UTC the park guy came over and said
"I'm really sorry, but you cant have stakes in the ground." I could
tell that his sorry was genuine. His brother is a ham so he understood. Quick
work to drop the mast and bungee it to a nearby post and back in business by
2010 UTC. Lots of loud signals but few could hear my 5 watts. Made 4 QSOs, all
CA so no multipliers. Still lots of fun.
