All battery power recharged via solar panel. I was happy with the performance,
but having one more battery would have helped. This was a good test, and I think
the system should work well for a portable station next VHF contest.
The score includes 50 pts web submission, 100 pts emergency power, and 100 pts
alternative power. I also had a satellite contact but was disappointed that as
class E I don't get the bonus.
All the 1D stations working each other really clogged up the bands. I'm looking
forward to the normal rules returning next year.
