Comments:
Much better than my 69 contacts last year. The WX was cold, with rain / thunder
on and off all day.
FTDX-10, 100W, 10-80 EFHW with 40' vertical and the rest sloping down to 20'
generally pointing to the east.
Quit at 8:30PM local Saturday night, then pulled down some in the morning as
breakfast was being made. Quit by 9:30am local.
Lessons learned. The EFHW works, but I may need to look a Hex Beam for next
year.
The FTDX-10 used 19AH for the first 4 hours and 15 minutes, while running about
90% of the time.
