K3 + P3 100 watts this time. N1MM Logger+ (still learning)
What a disaster. At the start, I did not hear any NS stations on 20 or 40 for a
few minutes. I was wondering if I had the right day and time or if the NS was
cancelled for this week. I've never heard near-silence at the state of an NS
before.
It took a few minutes to hear anyone and make the first QSO. Most jump balls
were missed, and most CQs came up empty. For many other calls to stations, I
was beaten out. It seemed like RX and TX were both not working. I almost quit
after 15 minutes.
