Comments:
Very flat conditions, except for a small tropo opening Sunday morning. Between
various hamfests taking ops away from the contest and the move to FT8, 6 and 2
meter SSB was a ghost town much of the afternoon. Time spent on FT8 boosted the
QSO and mult totals on 6 meters, at the cost of QSO and mult totals on the
higher bands. Too many operators park on FT8, reducing the opportunity for
contacts on higher bands. Rovers were noticeable by their absence. Only 3 rovers
were out in the NE, and most did not carry the higher bands. As a result totals
are quite a bit down, and the contest was a lot more challenging to find the
QSOs.
