Comments:

Total score includes 500 bonus points from making a W7DX contact on CW.

This was my first serious contest effort (not including various field days). I
operated by myself from home using a new-to-me Kenwood 590SG with 100 watts out
to either an attic dipole (20M only) or an EARCHI end fed wire vertical on a
fiberglass pole on my back deck (all bands) depending on which performed better
at a given time. I did not use spotting or any other type of assistance and I
logged all of my QSO's myself using N3FJP. (This was my first time using
computerized logging. It's great!!) I used a Kent single paddle, the rig's
internal keyer and no memory keyer of any kind; all CW was hand sent, generally
at 20WPM.

Band conditions at my QTH varied from pretty poor to completely and utterly
dead. The only exception was a very brief period on 80M when conditions suddenly
improved dramatically for no apparent reason. It was like operating in the
1990's; CW signals were clean, clear and loud with virtually no background
noise. What a treat! Unfortunately it only lasted about 15 minutes.

I'm including all of these details since I don't know what is important and what
is not important.
