FT-857 - 80 watts
20M Hamstick on the roof of the vehicle. Stationary.
Had a few minutes to leave the K6T team, so I drove about a mile down the road
and had a really good 40 minute run. Had to crank the power down on the 857 to
80 watts so I would not blow a fuse.
In the short run, 29 mults, working lots of assorted VE's, states in all parts
of the country and also got called by an OM2, SP5 and a KH6. Not bad for a
Hamstick and 80 watts!
