Comments:
The K7UGA call-sign was activated this year as a Special Event Station the week
before the Arizona QSO Party and culminated in a Special Event entry in AZQP
2021.
With the support and approval of the Goldwater family, the K7UGA call-sign was
assigned by the FCC to the Central Arizona DX Association (CADXA) in the memory
and honor of the late Arizona US Senator Barry M. Goldwater.
The CADXA appreciates the many contacts made during the Special Event session
and the Arizona QSO Party. We are especially thankful to the more than 1,000
amateur radio stations and operators who assisted in this project by contacting
us during our operations.
