Comments:

Went up to Rocky Flats NWR again today (KFF-0225) and setup an hour early. TT
Eagle to 32 ft 20m EFHW up the 32 ft mast, it was soooo windy the tall mast bent
the U-bolts on hitch mount but that just gave an offset to the antenna wire that
I had set out in the field so works better that way :-)

Was having a nice run of WWFF/POTA park hunters on 14043 and had hoped I'd have
a freq for the CWT. Alas, at 3 minutes to 1900z a KW in CA started clearing the
freq 100Hz above me and that was the end.. It took me 7 minutes into the CWT to
find a place to call CQ, no personal record today. Once I got going I was
working 3 stns a minute quite often, so it was a fun hour anyway. The wireless
keyboard has already worn out after 700 contacts (just 4 park activations) and
caused some mistyped calls, have a nicer one coming already.

Even a slow CWT up on the plateau in the open is more than twice what I can do
at home with my crap antenna :-)
After the CWT I changed to Special Event call N0M (Earth Science Week) and
worked more park hunters on CW.

Thanks for all the Qs!!
Glenn AE0Q
