The ILQP was on my birthday. One expected interruption did not occur, but we had
plans for a nice dinner with friends and was too tired to operate the last hour
or so. I was in no hurry to get started and activity in the narrow window from
1847-1919Z seemed pretty poor. Condx were good to most of IL on 20, but I could
get very few answers to SSB CQ's. 40M signals were weak; I'm sure they improved
later.
I made it through the WAQP (Worked All QSO Parties) grind completing all 45,
probably never to be never repeated again, Hi! Most of it was fun, a bit too
tedious in the parties with low activity. There was significant decline in
activity in a few like NV CO, and AL.
