Comments:
Spent too much BIC time on the first day and had such bad leg cramps I
submitted my log early and decided I couldnt do it any more.
After going out for coffee with a friend Sunday morning I decided to get
back in for an hour or two at a time and drink alot of water,
..something I knew I should be doing every day. (Did you know that Mayo
Clinic recommends drinking over a gallon a day for men?)
Glad I did get back to enjoy that ten mtr opening, just like yesteryear!
I had a great run way up high in the band. Ill never forget the year Stu,
KC1F (SK) won the contest and when asked where he made all those QSOs. His
answer was way up high on ten...I think above 28.8! Nice thing about
being up there was less QRM and a steady stream of callers, many of whom
were not in the check partial file because they were not contesters.I met two
goals I set on Sunday...1M points and 1000 Qs. CW is still lots more fun as much
