Comments:
Having flu infection (not COVID!!) and a bad cough, I decided to go for a
limited effort (Single Band - 15m category) and, for the first time, with N1MM+
Voice Keyer. I was skeptical that it will work, but now, after 22 hrs of
operation and 1600+ QSO-s, I have to admit that it performed very well and it
protected my sensitive throat.
The propagation was in good shape, excepting the last half of Sunday afternoon,
after 14:00 UTC. It seems that the announced CME affected the 15m propagation.
The statistics does not look so good related to JA participation and the reason
might be the decreasing JA stations interest in contesting: 20% USA, 11.5%
England, 8.5% Japan, 6% Spain.
Overall it was a promising show of Cycle 25, which gave me a lot of fun and kept
me in the chair for more than expected.
