Comments:
Trying out the 4 square on 80. It sure needs an omnidirectional mode. It is
significantly better than the inverted vee out west. People only stayed on 80
for the first 16 minutes, so it was not much of an advantage. BUT, it really
works for DX. K6AR and W6LAX were loud. VE3s were weak. I can really tell we
are into fall conditions. At 1345Z had only 108 contacts. 40 meter slopers
would really help.
