Comments:
Operated part time and all search and pounce (never called CQ). Thought
conditions were very good with very little QRN due to the lack of lightning over
the US.
Transceiver: Kenwood TS-180s with Hi-Per Mite active audio filter (200 Hz)
TX Antenna (80 meters): 68 foot vertical with 55 ground radials.
TX Antenna (40, 20 and 15 meters): 40 meter EFHW antenna mounted horizontally 20
feet up.
RX antennas: 3 small point fed pennants pointed 40, 160, and 300 degrees used as
needed.
Really enjoyed the contest and the exchange really keeps you on your toes.
